Car Seats for Preschoolers

Preschoolers in the 3 – 5 age group have multiple options for car seat use. If they fit within  the weight and height limits, they could continue to use a rear-facing convertible or all-in one car seat. However, if they meet the minimum weight, height and age requirements they  could also use aconvertible or all-in-one car seat in forward-facing mode. Additionally,  harness-to-booster car seats can be used as a forward-facing harnessed car seat and then  transitioned into a booster seat.
